Cell properties

You can change the settings for individual cells by dictating the size of the cell, how the content is aligned, or the background colour.

1. Place your cursor in the cell you wish to modify and right click.

2. In the menu that appears select the last option on the list Cell Properties

3. The Cell properties menu gives you several options to customise your cells.

build a website

Width Sets the width of the cell in either pixels wide or by percentage of the table size.
Height Sets the Height of the cell in pixels only (as the 100% cannot be calculated)
Word Wrap Choose whether or not the text within a cell wraps to fill the cell. Useful for keeping a small amount of text to one line but large bodies of text will distort the table and your webpage.
Horizontal Alignment Select how the content of the cell is aligned e.g. at left, central or right of the cell.
Vertical Alignment Select how the content of the cell is aligned e.g. at the top middle or bottom of the cell.
Rows Span Select the number of rows you want you’re select to span. This creates the impression of another cell in the row, therefore moving the table out of shape.
Column Span Select the number of columns you want your select to span. This creates the impression of another cell in the column, therefore moving the table out of shape.
Background Colour Use the built in colour picker or enter a hex code to shade the background of your cell.
Border Colour

If you have chosen a border for your cell as with the Background you can chose to colour the cell’s border using the colour picker or a hex code
