Horizontal (have your buttons running across the top of the page)
Vertical (place your buttons down the left side)

About horizontal buttons

Your website has a fixed width. You can only fit a limited number of horizontal buttons across a fixed width website. If your button text length is long or the number of buttons that you have is too many then you may encounter unpredictable results when you view your website. This may be particularly apparent when you add ****mullt-level navigation*****.

If you switch from vertical to horizontal buttons please keep in mind that many of our website designs have been created with the intention of using vertical menu buttons. Little design touches like including a shaded coloured bar down the left. May not be suitable for horizontal buttons and you may need to modify your design template.

About Vertical Buttons

Since your page is as long as it needs to be, there is no limitation on vertical buttons.

Choose a button style from the library as a ‘starting point’. We expect that you will want to customise your buttons. The ones that we have included are there to suggest styles. Howeber, we encourage you to use the service to create your own.

We give you a huge amount of choice when you create your website navigation system. Rather than starting from scratch, we offer you a few pre-designed styles that you can customise further to suit your website style.

Every time you create a new button style we also save the style you were working on and add it to your own library.
