Pointing your domain from 123-Reg

Pointing your domain from 123-Reg

Summary

This guide gives specific instructions on pointing a domain name purchased from 123-Reg, to your Reason8 website.

Considerations before you begin

You can use a domain name to not only provide you with a website and a matching email address. You are not restricted to using one company to provide both services. One company can supply your website the other your email.

Before making any changes you need to consider how your email service is being supplied currently and how you would like it in the future.

If you already receive an email service from a third party, we recommend you stay with them unless you are unhappy. This is because when you change your email provider all of your email settings will change. You will need to reset any other programs or devices you use to retrieve your email, such as Outlook or your mobile phone.  While these changes are being made you will lose any emails sent
