You can point as many domain names as you wish to your website. However only one name can be the primary or main name. So all others will be directed to it.

The only downside is that if you intend paying for clicks with the likes of Google Adsense you will only be able to use the primary name.

We hope this is helpful,

Default Another downside to hosting multiple domains

Another downside to hosting more than one domains on one hosting account is, uploading web pages is a little technical and frustrating especially for newbies mainly when using programs like Kompozer. I recommend using Filezilla to upload files to your websites because it is much easier to use. When I just started to upload files to my websites I had a difficult time with Kompozer because I only had one hosting account and several domain names and I never knew how to upload files to the extended or add-on domains. The only other alternative to using Filezilla is to have more than one hosting accounts but of course this will cost you. There are sites that give you this as a part of their package or as a free gift as a bonus to being a member.

I hope this helps as I know the challenges one face in building one's own website.
