We have just had a website designed by yourselves

I have been into the control panel where we bought the domain name and changed the primary and secondary DNS to the reason8 ones.

I had to unlock the domain to do this, should I lock the domain again now I have changed the servers to yours or is this something you will do from your end now the url is pointed to yourselves.

Also how long do you expect it to take before I can access my website by entering the url into my browser.

You should always lock your domain name after making any changes. This can only be done through the domain name control panel. It is simply an extra level of security for your domain name.

You should expect it to take no more than a couple of hours before the new website is found.
