It isn’t possible to make an email address in your header active. This is because it is written in a program called Flash.
The idea of having the email address displayed within the header is to prevent spammers from harvesting the address and using it to send out Spam emails to you.
We would also recommend that you use our preformed Contact Us page, instead of the one you are using at present. This is because we have spam blockers added to this page to again prevent spammers from finding your email address.
To add the pre created Contact Us page to your
site please see the following instructions:
1. Log into the website control panel
2. Click Step 3
3. Click Organise pages
4. In the list of your pages on the right click on the Contact Us page you want to remove then press remove.
5. At the bottom of the list on the left hold your mouse over the Preformed Contact us page which has a different icon to the rest.
6. Left click on the name and drag it over to the right
7. Once in the right position let go.
8. Click Save.
You can adjust what is displayed on this form by changing the information in Step 1
