Default Setting Up Emails

I've recently renewed my domain and wondered how I go about setting up an email account. How would I receive emails ? Via yourselves ? Would your servers pass them on ? Could I direct incoming mail to my outlook programme ?

All of our packages except the bronze comes with an email forwarding facility. This means that any email sent to the address we provide you with will automatically be forwarded to another email address of your choice such as a hotmail or yahoo.

As standard the first email address is automatically set up as info@ and the second sales@ unless you have chosen otherwise when buying your website. If you would like the prefix changing then please send us an email with the prefix you require, and we will make the changes for you.

However you will see that when you reply, the reply address will be that of your nominated email and not the one associated with your website name.

To send from the same address to which you are receiving you need to set up on your computer an email client such as Microsoft Outlook. This will not only enable you to send from any address you wish but also has some very useful features which will help you to manage your emails and tasks. In addition it is free and comes as standard on most PC's.

Once you have set up your designated email address if you are using Outlook the following instructions will show you how to change the reply address : Changing Your email reply address

We hope this is helpful,
