When you use a search engine such as Google, the information you are viewing isn’t necessarily the most up to date. What you are looking at is a view of that site when the search engine last visited it and stored its pages.

It takes around 3-4 weeks before the search engines will visit and register your website on their system, and show it in their search results. This is standard practice for any new website. Thereafter they will regularly visit you and log any changes made to the site and make any amendments to your positioning.

Default Search engines - early 'teething troubles'

You don't have to do anything to get on Google - we will register you and then submit a sitemap of your pages to Google, Yahoo and Bing. We do this each time you add, delete or change anything on your site.
(TIP: to checkout your sitemap type www.XXXXXXXXXXX.co.uk/sitemap.cfm (replacing the XXX....co.uk with your domain name).

It is frustrating, we know, but try using this time to add great content filled with your key words and get links from other sites.
