Default Displaying items

I want to split the page into 2 items for sale, so I would like to put am image of the item for sale, and a brief desctiption (I was thinking of inserting text box's but couldn't see the option for this)

Then, I would like to be able to click on the item, and see all the information, a whole page of it to include lots of pictures, and full details.

Can you help?

The best way to create this sort of effect would be to first put the two items you want onto one of your webpages. To line them up and to get a clean finish I would recommend using tables. Tables work on a similar principle to Excel so you make boxes that will be invisible to your client but will enable you to effortlessly structure your pages.

Instructions are below to create the table.

1. Go to the page you want to edit and put your cursor in the position you would like the images to be
2. Click the table icon which is a small grid on the top row of the editor bar
3. In the box that appears, if you want to add a picture with some text next to it then select 1 row 2 columns
4. Set the width to be 100% (takes the whole page width)
5. Then put the cell spacing and padding to 3, click add to website.
6. You will see on your page small very faint boxes.
7. Put your cursor in one of the boxes and add an image. (you will see the table distort but don’t worry at this stage)
8. Put the cursor in the second box and add the second image.
9. If you want to change how far apart the boxes are or colour the back ground etc right click in the cell and select either table or cell properties depending on the adjustments you need.
10. Then create the item in full using Step 4 Groups & Items, adding extra images prices and codes etc.
11. Once done go back to your main item page and create a link between the page and the item.
12. To create the link either highlight the image or the text and click the yellow square in the editor bar.
13. Select link to a webpage, internal webpage , item and select the item you want to link to from the list.
14. When you press add to website the link will be created. To test this go to test your website.

This question covers several topics so we suggest also looking at information on creating both tables and hyperlinks.

We hope this is helpful,
