To upload an image to the internet you do require a steady connection as even with smaller images they can take a few moments to upload. Therefore if your connection isn’t reliable you will have difficulty. I would suggest that if you intend running your business online that you consider getting a broadband connection.
It may also be that the images are too large to upload them through the editor. If your image is over 400px wide then you will not be able to upload it through this method. There is another way of uploading larger images and I have detailed the instructions below.
1. Go to the main control panel of the
site.
2. Click on the upload button to the left
3. Select the option for larger images
4. Click on browse, and in the box that appears select the image from your computer.
5. Click upload.
6. Then click yes if a warning message about images appears.
7. Once the image is uploaded to your website image library go back to the page you want to add the image and click edit.
8. Place the cursor where you want the image to appear and click the red icon in the editor bar.
9. Select to add image from library
10. Then select Your library.
11. Search for the image you uploaded, choose how the image is to be displayed in the options box.
12. Click add to website.
