The software provided by Google is a free download and can be used to easily modify images. It can be downloaded at Picasa 3: gratis download van Google

Once the software is installed it will automatically look through your PC and pick up any images saved. These will be imported into Picasa and updated with new images each time you open it.

The following instructions will show you how to reduce image sizes

1. Select the photos in Picasa you'd like to export.
2. To select several at once hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard and click each in turn
2. Click the Export button in the Photo Tray, at the bottom of the screen
3. In the 'Export to Folder' window, select your export settings:
* Choose an export location, ideally you should create a folder called resized images or similar and select for the folder to be located on your desktop.
* Select an image size of around 400px using the slider.
4. Click OK.
5. The image/s will automatically be resized, and saved in the file you created.

When uploading the images to your website choose those that have been reduced in the new file. To make managing the file easier only save in it images that have been reduced for your website.

For more on using Picasa please go to Picasa - Picasa Help

We hope this is helpful
