I’ve had a brief look at your website with regards to improving its position with the search engines. I have noted below a couple of points that you could look at which should help.
1. Whole
site Keywords – You have added keywords in Step 1 for the whole website. However they are very general. This would mean for example that with the keyword “Tiling” you are competing worldwide with any company that has anything to do with tiling. Consider refining the keywords to use something like “ Tiling Preston” or “Bathroom tilers Lancashire” etc
2. Individual page keywords – as well as setting keywords for your whole
site you can also set them for each page. The format and principle is the same as in Step 1. To change the keywords for each page Go to Step 3 and click the Google button next to the page name.
3. Content – At the moment there is very little text on your
site. As search engines cannot see pictures all they will see on your
site is blank pages. This is almost certainly the biggest contributing factor to your sites under performance. The ideal is to create text and image rich pages around a specific subject. E.g. A page on kitchens with some good photos of the work you have done and text about your kitchen building services.
4. Google Local – Consider signing up for Google’s Local service.
