Not sure what is happening – have put a new page on one of our websites. In Google it is at the top of the page for our main keyword (which is brilliant) but it opens into one big page without any links to the rest of his site. Does that make sense!! Whereas if you put in one of his other pages they open in his website.

The listing shown in Google appears to be the Printable version of the page.

You have the option to make all the pages on your website printable. The pages that are printable are actually created as extra pages in their own right but in a format that is more appropriate to print. The page that’s coming up in the search engines is the printable page. If you look at the full name of the page you will see the reference in the page name

www. yourdomain.com/info2.cfm?info_id=999999&printablePage=yes

To fix this I would suggest removing the facility for the page to be printed on your site. It only really has an application if the site has instruction sheets or other information clients may want to print.

However we can’t guarantee that the original page will replace it in Google. Although if the printable page has done well the main page could do too.
