Question Colour of navigation buttons

Until recently I had 'trademark' red navigation buttons on my website. Then it was suggested I 'update' this and I got a menu that offered only limited button colours (green/blue/grey). So I ended up chosing blue but I would have preferred to choose red. Did I overlook something here or are the colour option for the buttons limited for some reason? If there is a way of going back to 'red' - please tell me how!

Thank you for any suggestions!

I have also inadvertently changed my buttons from one colour to two tone but cannot find how to put them back to what I had originally. Can anyone advise me please?

Although it is possible to revert to the old style of buttons, it means that you would not be able to use some of the new features that we are building into the system.

With the new buttons there are infinite colour combinations avaliable. You can either use the colours within the system or choose your own.

To determine colours computers use hex codes, they are a combination of six letters or numbers e.g. #FFFFFF which is white. You can use our colour picker by clicking on the coloured square the color picker that appears will allow you to select a wide range of colours.

Alternatively if you already have the hex code then you can simply type it in to give an exact colour match.

All new templates will also give a range of colours that are on the template to help you match them up.

We hope this is helpful,

The button editor lets you to choose any colour you like. But it may not be obvious how to do this.
If you click the big colour-block it will open a fancy colour picker.
The link 'Choose Colour From Palette' below this only shows those colours you have used so far which is why it may seem like there are not may available.
